  Got a custom birthday cake for the wife here. We loved it. Guests also asked where did we get it. Since then we come by once in awhile as their food is delicious! Pizza, sandwiches, baked treats, coffee, all excellent with a matching level of customer service. Very glad to have such a nice local gem nearby.

  My first experience here this past Saturday made me love this place immediately. I would not classify it as just a bakery as they have a deli, a hot table and a little cafe in addition to the vast variety of breads, cakes and pastries displayed beautifully. My espresso was well made with care and attention which I appreciated. Service was fast but they let me take time to enjoy it before paying which made me feel welcome. I was able to sit and enjoy a chat with a friend in comfort and I'll definitely be coming back to this place. I love that I can meet someone for coffee here instead of any old chain coffee place. Having grown up in Vaughan I had made my way through many Italian bakeries and what I like most about Emily's is that you can come here and sit down to have a great espresso, cappuccino or other artisan coffee and there is actually ample seating for a bakery. Some other places have great coffee but are too packed with the deli, bakery, groceries, etc. to have any place you can actually sit down, enjoy your coffee and chat with a friend. This isn't the closest bakery of it's type to me but I will go a little further for a comfortable spot with excellent coffee.

  They have everything fresh. Place if very clean. Very convenient location. I like their pastries and breads. They also sell pizza dough which is very fresh. Staff is very friendly.

  I ordered a cake aprox a month ago for my daughter's confirmation. After sitting with the young lady describing the details to the cake and letting her know when we would need it for I asked do I provide a deposit? Can I have a receipt? She in turn told me no deposit are necessary and they don't give receipts said don't worry we do this all the time....I have ordered from Emily's before...coming from Schomberg I really enjoyed the quality of the products provided however when I came in on Saturday to get the cake another young lady told me my order is not there....I said well I ordered this a month ago..she said "not from me" in defense and defensive...well that was pretty obvious otherwise I would have said so... in the end I got nothing...not even a wait let me try and get something for you...something...she just stood there defensive and not providing anything in return. I left the bakery..no cake for the my daughters confirmation. Your process needs to change....that was an awful feeling walking out without that confirmation cake and not even let me try and help you with something else. I had to walk into the restaurant with nothing for my daughter. Coming from Schomberg I will no longer go out of my way to do so, and have also told the people at the table with me what had happen...so happens 2 of them also USED to come to Emily's. I thought you should know what my experience was at this bakery, which teaches me as well, never trust someone that says "we do this all the time"......I am a very upset customer.
