  Like many other reviewers have said: good food, service - not so much. I asked for decaf and was told it would take about 10 minutes. I asked for tea instead. 10 minutes later asked again, the waitress said she was making the decaf. Had to ask for a menu. Had to ask for refills on hot water for tea. Had to come to the wait station to ask for the bill. And it's not like they were busy, it was weekday morning. Out of 2 girls working, "mine" was mostly on her phone and the other ignored me since it was not "her" table. Big difference from "What a bagel" on Atkinson. There you get everything right away (menu and drinks), waiters always checked on us regularly, etc. Once again for the Rutherford location: good food, but PLEASE improve the service. Part of the store with bagels and other goodies is good. Everything I tried there was fresh and delicious, and they make good takeout sandwiches, too.

  The main issue with this bakery is little supervision on customer service. The pastries are of very good quality but I do not recommend dining in. I had to wait and eventually call someone before I was handed a menu. No hellos or any smile. The server that served me was not particularly nice or even polite enough to wait and listen fully to what I was ordering. I noticed the servers were eating and drinking while on duty at the pantry area (my server laughing out loud) where everyone could see them. Not a professional attitude at workplace. Given the food is good I wish there was more supervision on how the staff behaved. I recommend take outs from this store.
